What size tracks does a Bobcat compact track loader use?
Expert_Answer
Bobcat compact track loaders use OEM-specific track designs identified by a B-prefixed width code rather than a plain millimetre width. In the VANROCK catalog the smaller frames — T140, T180, T190, T550 and T590 — run B320 tracks with an 86 mm pitch (early T140 versions use 84 mm), while the larger frames — T200, T250, T300, T320, T630, T650, T750, T770 and T870 — run B450 tracks with an 86 mm pitch. The B code matters: the internal core and guide geometry is specific to the Bobcat undercarriage, so a standard 320 or 450 mm track will not fit even though the width looks the same. The number of links varies with machine version, so always confirm the full size — width code × pitch × links — moulded on the inside of your current track or check your serial number. VANROCK manufactures rubber tracks for the full Bobcat T-series (independent aftermarket, not affiliated with Bobcat), quoted on request through its dealer network.
